What is Music, Staves and Staffs
In music theory, staves (or staffs) are essential elements used to represent musical notation. A staff consists of five horizontal lines and four spaces, each representing a different musical pitch. The position of notes on the staff indicates their pitch, while additional symbols, such as clefs, time signatures, and key signatures, provide further context for interpreting the music.
